This research program is designed for Early Career Researcher who hold citizens and resident of United Kingdom or Indonesia. The participant must be PhD student or a research staff with maximum of 5 years post PhD experience or staff qualified to Master level or equivalent with maximum of 8 years experiences. The total prize of £10,000 are available, We expect to fund around 5 Dissemination Awards each with a maximum value £2,000, but we note this is cap and not a target.
ECRs will be able to submit an abstract to present their research at the Workshop, which will be used to select the speakers at the Workshop. The best talks will then be selected for funding to attend a relevant conference of their choice to present their research work (i.e present the same research as presented at the workshop. We encourage applicants to consider presenting at COP26 fringe meetings, or the Asian-Pacific Climate Change Week, but any relevant conference will be considered for funding. All ECRs are eligible.
