Sustainable Clean Energy for E-Mobility Ecosystem

Clean energy is one of the human quest for repairing the earth face. After the first industrial revolution (right after James Watt’s steam engine invention), the carbon pollution is rapidly increasing. The abundant of carbon emission covering the atmosphere caused the global warming. The domino effect of climate crisis has appeared in any world surface. Thus, the sustainable clean energy without combustion process becomes the key to cope the climate apocalypse in the near future. Dr. Laksana Tri Handoko, Chairman of National Research Innovation Agency (BRIN) Republic of Indonesia, has delivered speech about E-mobility Ecosystem in his opening remark and plenary session of International Conference on Battery for Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles (ICB-REV) 2021 on June 22nd, 2021.

Dr. Handoko, in detail, stated the energy storage as the most advance technology for e-mobility ecosystem. So that, the battery manufacturing infrastructure is strongly needed. Fortunately, Indonesia already has the key technology flagship of Electric Vehicles joined with various institution. From body exterior an interior, vehicles platform, motor controller/electric motor inverter, battery management system, battery (cell, modul, and pack) to thermal management system.
