After visiting LIPI Bandung, the National Research Priority Team visited Institute of Technology Bandung on Tuesday (27/04/2021). The team was welcomed by Prof. Zaki Mubarok from the Department of Metallurgy ITB by strictly adhering to health protocols. On this occasion, Prof. Zaki and Prof. Evvy shared their thoughts on battery development and related issues on battery and power storage as well as the progress on research development between two institutions.
The fruitful discussion opened with the explanation from Prof. Zaky about NMC batteries. Next, Prof. Zaky and Prof. Evvy shares their view on strategic issues related to battery holding. The focus group discussion closed with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two parties on Battery Research and Renewable Energy. Furthermore, Prof. Evvy directly invites Prof. Zaki to participate in the upcoming international conference held by NBRI.
