My internship experience was a very enjoyable and long one. I stayed for 9 months, starting with a 3-month as reseach assistant intern and followed by a MBKM research internship supported by my university to conduct research at NBRI. I gained a lot of knowledge of battery technology from upstream to downstream, from the process of synthesis active cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, battery testing, and its application in the energy field. In research tasks, I was given the opportunity to publish papers in JB-REV, ICB-REV 2022, and ICAMT-2022.

Not only related to research, at NBRI I was also given the opportunity to develop managerial, communication, and responsibility skills. I participated in various internal and external activities, such as the International Battery School, Re-Spark by New Energy Nexus, ICB-REV 2022, IMAC 2022, ICAMT 2022, Millennial Talks, and others.

As a metallurgical engineering student who is known for dealing with refining metals and material production, being able to gain knowledge about batteries from upstream to downstream, which is currently booming in Indonesia and certainly has a bright future in supporting electric vehicles and energy storage, made me more knowledgeable about the field I am in.

Successfully completing 9 months was certainly not easy, thankfully I had very cooperative NBRI staff in my daily activities. I would like to mention the people who were always there during my journey: Baihaqi Muhammad, Sigit Aryo, Agung Fauzi, Raychan Abyqa, and Shafira Ramadhani.

Lastly, I thank to Prof. Dr. rer. nat Evvy Kartini as the founder of NBRI and Prof. Alan J Drew as the co-founder who gave me the opportunity to do internship at NBRI and supported me in every activity. I also want to thank, Muhammad Fakhrudin, my supervisor and Moh. Syafi'ul Mubarok who helped me in many ways.
