NBRI Industrial Training of PT. Komatsu Indonesia

Friday 3 September 2021 is the last day of a series of training for PT. Komatsu Indonesia (PT.KI). The Industrial Training organized by NBRI took place in 4 sessions. The training which started on August 24, August 27, August 31 and September 3 is the basic training requested by PT.KI. In this training, PT. KI sent 5 representatives to learn about basic information about batteries.


The industrial training organized by NBRI also invited experts from all over Indonesia in accordance with their respective fields of knowledge. This training ran smoothly and participants felt the benefits and gained new knowledge.

The first day of training was delivered by the founder of NBRI, Prof. Dr. rer nat Evvy Kartini. In his session, Prof. Evvy conveyed basic knowledge about batteries.


Then the second day was presented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Anne Zulfia, M.Sc from the University of Indonesia, followed by material from Prof. Dr. Arief Budiman, Phd.


On the third day, participants learned more about batteries, which was presented by Prof. Dr. Eng Agus Purwanto and the UNS Team and continued with the material presented by Mr. Achmad Subhan, M.T from the Indonesian Institute of Sciences.


The last day, participants were invited to study and practice in the NBRI lab. Although the activity took place online, participants were invited to take a virtual tour led by Prof. Evvy Kartini, assisted by a team from NBRI. On this occasion the team from NBRI, Mr. Fakhrudin, S.T., Mr. Wahyu Syafiul M., S.Si and Mr. Mohammad Ridho Nugraha, S.T gave directions on the process of making batteries in the NBRI lab.

In each activity, participants will be absent in each session and also quizzes. This aims to help the committee to understand the level of understanding of the participants.

NBRI hopes to continue training activities aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of the younger generation to create an energy-independent Indonesia.
